Personal Accident Insurance- Common carrier:

This insurance provides cover to Askari Bank World/Corporate/Platinum/Gold cardholders while travelling anywhere in the world against accidental death and permanent disablement as per Contingency Scale mentioned below provided if the accidental death and/or permanent disablement is caused due to accident to the carrier (operated as authorised mean of public transport) subject always to the condition that the ticket of travelling in the public transport is bought by using Askari Bank’s Credit Card. In case of ACCIDENTAL DEATH, the company shall indemnify the insured up-to 5% of the Capital Sum Insured (maximum RS. 5,000/-) as funeral or transport charges of the dead body to the heirs.

In case of ACCIDENTAL INJURY, the company shall indemnify the insured upto 5% of the Capital Sum Insured (maximum RS. 5,000/-) as emergency medical expenses and conveyance charges to the nearest hospital.

FIR is required in situation where necessary.
No cover in case the accidental death and/or disablement results due to kidnap. Kidnap and ransom is excluded altogether.
No cover for any kind of dangerous sports activities.
No cover for long term disability and/or salary/income loss resulting from accidental death and/or disablement.
No cover for losses from accident or injury to professional sports men, women, ship crews, stevedores, professional divers, member of military, security services or operations (Navy, Armed Forces, Air Forces, Police and Security Guards) and unnamed/unidentified individuals.
Insurance doesn’t cover any loss, damage, cost or expense or whatsoever nature directly or indirectly caused by, resulting from, happening through, arising out of or in connection with any of the under mentioned occurrence:

1. War, Strike, Riot and Civil Commotion Exclusion
2. Nuclear Risk Exclusion
3. Cyber risks and liability Exclusion
4. Sanction Limitation Exclusion

Travel Inconvenience Insurance:

This policy shall cover loss due to delay of flight, delay of baggage and loss of/ or damage to the baggage of the insured credit cardholder travelling outside Pakistan provided always that the ticket has been bought by using Askari bank’s Credit Card to travel outside Pakistan.
