Customer Visit Management (CVM) Pilot Launch

Askari Bank always aims to provide better customer experience with efficient means and systems. Embarking on the same endeavor we are glad to announce pilot launch of Customer Visit Management(CVM) service for our valued customers.

Customer Visit Management (CVM) System is an innovative solution that handles the customers’ visit even before they step into the branch and offers unique experience that far exceeds the customer expectations. Currently, the pilot program is launched in 20 selected branches comprising of 17 conventional and 3 Islamic Banking branches nationwide. The service is available in both Urdu and English Language.

Following are the salient feature of Customer Visit Management Service:

  • Branch Appointments through Mobile Banking App

    All Mobile Application users can now book appointment prior to their visit through Askari Mobile Banking App with minimal steps.

  • Priority Service

    The system will identify the customer through CNIC and assign priority, where senior citizens will be given top priority.

  • Customer Feedback Panel

    Customers can now record and rate branch performance by using customer feedback panel placed on customer services representative desk at the branch.

  • Digital Signage

    It’s an advanced system that consists of a set of large digital LED screens, displaying queuing information, allowing branch staff to call the customers to service counters.

Customer can book the branch appointment by using Askari Mobile App through the following simple steps:

Step # 1: Taking Appointment through Askari Mobile Banking

  • Customer using Askari Mobile app select “Branch Appointments” from the side menu after login
  • Click on “Get Appointment” for new appointments and select the branch from the available options as nearest, within 10km and all
  • Select the type of service to be acquired
  • Select Appointment Date
  • Select Appointment Time
  • Appointment confirmation

After digital receipt on Mobile App, customer receives a message to Check-in the branch within 15 minutes of the appointment time.

Step # 2: Checking-in at the Branch Kiosk


Following are the process flow for Walk-in customers to use Branch Kiosk:

  • Walk-in Customers
    • Who can avail Customer Visit Management Service?
      • All Askari Bank customers can avail this service through Askari Mobile Banking App or by visiting the AKBL branches
      • All Non-Askari Bank customers can avail this service by visiting the AKBL branches
    • I am an Askari Bank Customer; how can I book the branch appointment through Askari Mobile App?
      In order to use Branch appointment feature through Askari Mobile Banking App, please register for Askari Internet Banking and then login to the Mobile App.
    • What is the time frame for customers to check-in at the branch kiosk after taking appointment from Askari Mobile Banking?
      Customer has a 15 minutes time slot before and after the appointment time to check-in and retrieve the appointment receipt.
    • How many appointments a customer can take in one day?
      A Customer can take one appointment in a day at any branch. However, multiple appointments for different branches/date/time can be taken at the same time.

    • Where customers can check details of appointment taken?
      Customers can check appointment details by clicking on the side menu in the application, clicking on Branch Appointments and clicking on “My Appointments” tab.

    • Are senior citizens given priority?
      Yes, all Senior Citizens, either Askari or Non-Askari are given priority at service counters in the branch.
    • Is CVM Service available in all Askari Bank Branches?
      Currently, CVM Pilot service is launched in 20 branches countrywide
    • What are the type of services that can be availed through CVM Service?
      Following services can be availed through Customer Visit Management Service:

      • Cash Deposit – Account
      • Fee Challan/Utility Bill
      • Cash Withdrawal
      • Cheque Deposit
      • Banker’s Cheque Issuance
      • FCY Cash Deposit/ Payment
