SMS Banking

Askari Bank introduces SMS Banking Service so you can conveniently access your account from the comfort of your home.

Eligibility Criteria
All customers maintaining valid account with AKBL are eligible for this service.

  • Type “Reg” (space) your CNIC number (without dashes) and send at “9475” from Mobile Number registered with AKBL
  • You will receive the following message;“I hereby agree that I shall be liable for all losses on breach of any/all terms and conditions of AKBL I-Net Banking mandated at www.askaribank.com
    1-Agree
    2-Cancel”
  • Press “1” to Agree to the terms and conditions
  • You will receive the following message;
    “Dear Customer, you are successfully registered for AKBL SMS Banking services. Please call 111-000-787 for activation.”
After successful registration, SMS Banking services can be activated as per process below;

  • Call 111-000-787
  • After positive verification, SMS Banking service will be activated and you will receive the following message from 8870:

“Dear customer, your SMS Banking service has been activated on Date: ______________ Time: ______________ . Please type “SMSBANKING” and send to 9475 to avail services.”

Note: To un-register to the service, you may call our helpline at 111-000-787 and receive confirmation through SMS.

Please type “SMSBANKING” and send it to “9475” to access the following transaction menu.

      1. New Debit Card Activation
      2. Debit Card PIN change
      3. Block Debit Card
      4. Unblock Debit Card
      5. Balance Inquiry
      6. Mini Statement (last 3 transactions either debit or credit)
      7. Cheque Book issuance
    8. Stop Cheque Payment
