Overview

Askari Bank's Debit Card for overseas customers gives you easy access to your Foreign Currency Account, making it simple to manage your finances from anywhere in the world. This card is designed for convenience, allowing you to make payments internationally to cover all your needs. You can access your foreign currency account anytime with your overseas debit card, which works at millions of stores and ATMs in over 150 countries. With this card, you have the freedom to withdraw cash and make payments wherever you are.

Procedure For Delivery of Debit Card

Overseas customers will route the request through their registered email to “support@askaribank.com.pk”

The request must contain the following documents:

  • Copy of valid passport, visa and entry stamp
  • Expected date of return to Pakistan
  • New (temporary) contact number or number of existing destination (if a registered mobile number is not in use on roaming)
  • Signed authority letter for collection of debit card (in the name of the person who will collect the Debit Card on behalf of AKBL customer)
  • Arrival date to Pakistan through undertaking

After submission of the above documents, the authorised representative of the customer will visit the respective branch within 5 working days to collect the Debit Card.

Proper written acknowledgement will be obtained from the authorised representative who received the Debit Card on behalf of the AKBL customer.

Once the Debit Card is handed over to the authorised representative, the branch will send a confirmation email to the customer on their registered email.

Online Activation

Upon receipt of the Debit Card, the overseas customer will log in to Askari Internet Banking and activate the new Debit Card through the ATM Card Management menu.

Activation Through Call Centre

Once the Debit Card is received, the overseas customer will call the Askari Contact Centre at +92-111-000-787 from their registered mobile number (if using roaming) to activate the card.

If Internet Banking is unavailable or blocked due to card expiry, and the registered mobile number is either switched off or not on roaming, the Debit Card will be activated as per the bank’s policy.
