Yes, this account offers customers free Accidental Insurance coverage – 24 hours world-wide "Accidental Death & Permanent Disability" insurance – up to PKR 2 million upon maintaining a monthly average balance of PKR 100,000.

  • Linked account in USD, GBP, EUR & AED.
  • This account is opened simultaneously with freelancer PKR account, or any other Conventional/Islamic Banking PKR account for IT Exporters.
  • Monthly FCY Retention up to 50% of Export Proceeds or USD 5,000/- (whichever is higher).
  • Bank by default credits permissible retained amounts in ESFCAs, unless an exporter specifically requests in writing to the bank for less/not crediting the export proceeds.
  • The funds available in the ESFCAs can be converted into PKR at any time upon the request of the customer.

Yes, for Freelancers the balances held in ESFCA may be utilized for making all personal and own work-related payments (for example, digital services, digital marketing, membership/subscription fees, acquiring certification, study etc.) without any approval from SBP. For IT Exporters (sole proprietors only), the balances held in the ESFCAs may be utilized for making all types of payment of current account nature (for example imports, acquisition of services from abroad for their own business purposes) without SBP's prior approval.

Yes, Zakat & taxes are applicable as per government regulations and directives of SBP.

Yes, local credits are allowed.

  • Freelancers and self-employed professionals offering digital services such as:
    • Web Development
    • App Development
    • Content Creation
    • Virtual Assistance
    • IT Consulting
  • Individuals working on international freelancing platforms such as:
    • Upwork
    • Fiverr
    • Other global freelance marketplaces
  • During the account opening process through a branch or the Askari Digital Account Opening App, any of the following may be submitted as proof of income/profession:
    • An Undertaking Document
    • Registration with P@SHA/PSEB
    • Any document demonstrating freelancing activity (e.g., payment receipts, invoices, etc.)
