You can now initiate the cheque book issuance request by sending SMS to 8870 in the following manner:

Issuance Process

Initiate Request

• Send SMS “CB” or “cb” to 8870.
• You will receive a confirmation message from 8870 confirming successful submission.

Request Confirmation by Voice & Virtual Center

• You will receive a verification call by the Voice & Virtual Center within one working day to confirm your bank details, account against which cheque book needs to be issued and number of cheque book leaves required.

Cheque Book Collection from Branch

• Once the cheque book is ready and delivered to your branch, you will be intimated via SMS.
• Cheque book will be handed over as per existing process.
